Our story
We launched Onward Climate in 2025 to make a new home for what had been the Utility Partnerships business unit at 3Degrees, bringing twenty years experience as the industry leader in customer acquisition for green power programs. That foundation now powers our new strategic mandate: to apply our customer engagement capabilities to the broader utility program space. That means expanding from our roots in green power to the programs of the future: load flexibility, demand response, and time of use programs. Today we work with utilities and their partners across the country to deliver enrollments, customer insights, and flexible load. We work every day to help people see how their actions can shape a cleaner, more resilient energy future — moving people from passive consumers to empowered partners.

Amanda Mortlock, President
Onward is led by President Amanda Mortlock who previously led the Utility Partnerships business at 3Degrees. She brings 20+ years of expertise working with utilities to evolve, design, and grow voluntary programs. Merging a deep understanding of program economics, customer acquisition, and a commitment to a thriving workplace culture, Amanda is honored to steward Onward in this new chapter.
